Day 44 Coral Bay

A new peak! If you’ve never been to Coral Bay, find a reason to get here. It’s absolutely stunning. Only a short 90 minute drive from Exmouth, it’s a pretty little village sitting on a beautiful white sandy cove, with Ningaloo Reef just meters from the low tide mark.
We settled into a place called The People’s Park and we were lucky enough to get a spot literally, only 20 paces from the sand. I’ve taken some pictures to show just how close we are to the beachfront. Once we had the van set up, Jacqui had the boys working on their travel diaries for school, which was a bit tough of her, considering the view the boys had to put up with. That might explain why their efforts were a little shorter than normal. While the boys did their homework, Jacqui spent some quality time sharing text messages with Lisa about yesterdays European pirates, before she reverted back to her school mistress role, and corrected the boys work. We all then headed across the road for a quick snorkel in the protected bay before a walk around the village. As the pictures show, Jacob is in his version of paradise.
We had a little trouble getting Jacqui to leave Broome and I think we might have some difficulty getting her out of Coral Bay.
Cheers,
Jorg
