So much for a pre-planned itinerary. After a farwell with some close friends on Saturday afternoon, we’d planned to get away at about lunchtime and spend the night at Bathurst but ended driving on through to Cowra.
We’ve set up for the night at the Cowra Holiday Park. It’s not overly crowded and it has good quality amenities and a pool that the boys and Jacqui all loved after a sweaty 
afternoon in the car. It’s a little noisy as we’re on the highway but you can’t have everything. Once we settled in, we headed into town for a quick feed at the Cowra Services Club and then a top up of supplies at the local Woolies.

It’s now 9:30 and the boys are completing their diary’s while Jacqui and I enjoy are a quiet drink and reflect on how we can make tomorrow a better day for the boys. We have a lot of kilometres to cover to ensure we get to White Cliffs by about midday on Tuesday.
